Senior Frontend Engineer

About the Role

TawanTech is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time position involves designing, developing, and enhancing high-quality frontend applications. The role focuses on delivering secure, responsive, and user-friendly digital experiences, ensuring alignment with technical standards, architecture, and business requirements.

Purpose of the Position

The Senior Frontend Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex features, from UI design handoff through production release. This includes translating UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional, accessible interfaces, and ensuring applications meet performance, security, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performing frontend applications using React and React Native.
• Build reusable components and shared libraries to improve consistency across products.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services, APIs, and third-party platforms.
• Apply client-side security practices for authentication, session handling, and sensitive data.
• Manage mobile release cycles across App Store and Google Play, including native build configuration.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold frontend engineering standards across the squad.
• Troubleshoot complex frontend and device-specific issues and implement durable fixes.
• Optimize application performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Support automated testing, CI/CD, and production issue resolution.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in frontend engineering.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Riyadh Province. The role involves working within a team to deliver robust digital experiences.
