Senior Frontend Engineer

About the Role

TAWANTECH is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing high-quality frontend applications. The successful candidate will ensure that digital experiences are secure, responsive, and user-friendly, aligning with technical standards, architecture, and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performing frontend applications using React and React Native.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of complex features, from UI design handoff to production release.
• Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional, accessible interfaces.
• Build reusable components and shared libraries to enhance consistency across products.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services, APIs, and third-party platforms.
• Apply client-side security practices for authentication, session handling, and sensitive data.
• Manage mobile release cycles across App Store and Google Play, including native build configuration.
• Ensure applications meet performance, security, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility standards.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold frontend engineering standards within the team.
• Troubleshoot complex frontend and device-specific issues, implementing durable fixes.
• Optimize application performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Support automated testing, CI/CD processes, and production issue resolution.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in frontend engineering.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in React and React Native.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, state management, and Git.
• Hands-on experience with native build tooling (Xcode, Android Studio) and app store releases is considered beneficial.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a team to deliver robust frontend solutions.
