Senior Legal Analyst

About the Role

Tas'Helat Marketing is seeking a Senior Legal Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves contributing to the development and implementation of legal frameworks related to local content and government procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research to identify and assess international best practices applicable to TMC guidelines and regulations, recommending relevant practices for the development, removal, or update of TMC’s laws and regulations.
• Assist in identifying gaps in current laws, regulations, and processes for local content and government procurement through gap analysis against best practices in KSA.
• Suggest implementation guidelines for procurement law based on research and best practices to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
• Support the drafting of local content and government procurement laws/regulations related to TMC's mandate.
• Contribute to increasing stakeholder awareness on local content and government procurement governance to maximize compliance with defined standards and legislative requirements.
• Provide advice to stakeholders on policies and regulations related to local content and government procurement as directed.
• Assist in resolving legal risks affecting local content and government procurement, proposing solutions and mitigation actions.
• Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables.
• Handle collection claims after transfer from the collection team to the legal department.
• Manage commercial, legal, fraud, and labor cases.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (minimum), with professional legal certifications preferred.
• 3-8 years of experience in legal affairs management in a public entity, legal research, investigation, data analysis, and legal correspondence, preferably in KSA.
