Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel Litigations and Disputes to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on managing litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution across various business functions within the organization.

Role Overview

The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of legal disputes and contentious matters. This includes developing legal strategies, managing external counsel, and providing expert advice to business units on complex claims and investigations. The position requires a proactive approach to risk mitigation and dispute prevention.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop legal strategies and provide advice on complex disputes, claims, and investigations.
• Oversee external counsel and legal service providers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Review and assess potential legal risks, claims, and disputes, providing recommendations on mitigation and resolution strategies.
• Lead the preparation of legal submissions, case documentation, witness statements, and supporting evidence.
• Represent the Legal function in discussions, negotiations, mediations, and settlement processes.
• Provide legal support to business units on contentious matters, regulatory inquiries, and dispute prevention initiatives.
• Monitor litigation trends, legal developments, and emerging risks that may impact the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience.
• Proven experience in managing litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.
• Strong understanding of legal risks and mitigation strategies.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to manage legal affairs effectively within the company's operational context.
