Senior Manager Cyber Security

About the Role

Ultimate Peaks Talent & Strategy is seeking a Senior Manager Cyber Security to lead the cyber security function for an established organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on strengthening resilience and protecting critical systems, information, and digital assets. The position requires 5-10 years of experience and combines strategic leadership with operational oversight.

Role Context

The Senior Manager Cyber Security will work closely with technology teams, business leaders, and external partners. This role is central to developing and implementing robust cyber security measures to safeguard the organization's digital infrastructure and data against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the cyber security strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee security operations, threat monitoring, incident response, and recovery readiness.
• Lead cyber risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security improvement programs.
• Maintain security policies, standards, and controls aligned with business needs and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Embed security into technology projects, cloud environments, and third-party engagements.
• Report cyber risks, incidents, and performance to senior leadership.
• Lead and develop the cyber security team and promote security awareness across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Substantial experience in cyber security, including leadership responsibility in a complex organization.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, cyber risk, governance, incident response, and cloud security.
• Experience applying recognized frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Ability to translate technical risks into clear business priorities.
• A relevant degree is required; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
