Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with extensive experience in mechanical building services, focusing on large-scale mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the supervision of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting, irrigation, and mechanical utility works.
• Review mechanical designs, shop drawings, calculations, equipment selections, and material submittals.
• Coordinate mechanical systems across residential, commercial, clubhouse, retail, and office components.
• Resolve MEP, architectural, structural, and infrastructure interface issues.
• Monitor installation quality, testing, flushing, balancing, commissioning, and performance verification.
• Review method statements, RFIs, technical proposals, and corrective actions.
• Manage mechanical inspections, snagging, handover, and O&M documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of mechanical building-services experience.
• Proven experience on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial developments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting, irrigation, and utility systems.
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and phased handover.
• Knowledge of SBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and applicable international standards.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers registration is mandatory.
