Link Datacenter is seeking a Senior Oracle Siebel Migration Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting a complex and time-sensitive application migration and upgrade project. The specialist will be crucial in migrating Oracle Siebel applications from on-premises environments to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Oracle Siebel products and cloud migration, with a proven track record in executing complex cross-platform migrations. This position requires practical experience in migrating on-premises applications to cloud environments, specifically focusing on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Linux, and Oracle Database migration. Strong cloud migration expertise is a mandatory requirement for this project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the cloud migration of Oracle Siebel applications from an on-premises Windows environment to Oracle Linux on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Plan and implement an out-of-place migration, ensuring application and infrastructure compatibility across source and target environments.
• Manage the migration of Oracle Siebel application versions alongside database schema migration.
• Execute logical database migration using Oracle Data Pump (expdp/impdp), considering operating system changes and database compatibility.
• Assess the existing environment, identify migration dependencies, and develop the technical migration strategy.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, operating system, application, and database issues throughout the migration process.
• Develop and execute migration, testing, and validation plans to ensure data integrity and application stability.
• Coordinate migration activities to meet tight project deadlines while minimizing operational risks and service disruption.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of proven hands-on experience with Oracle Siebel products and applications.
• Strong cloud migration expertise, including planning and executing complex application migrations to cloud environments.
• Practical experience with cross-platform migration from Windows-based environments to Linux.
• Experience with Oracle Database migration using Oracle Data Pump (expdp/impdp).
• Strong understanding of Oracle Siebel architecture, application components, dependencies, and deployment requirements.
• Experience with application version upgrades and database schema migration.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Linux is essential.
• Experience troubleshooting application and database compatibility issues during cloud migration.
