Rumoz Consulting Engineers (شركة رموز للإستشارات الهندسية) is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves contributing to significant engineering, construction, and urban development projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Role of Senior Planning Engineer

The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, scheduling, and control of projects. This role requires strong capabilities in developing detailed project timelines, managing resources, and ensuring effective project execution from inception through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and resource plans.
• Monitor project progress and support cost and time control across all project phases.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and present planning information clearly to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet established deadlines.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA) in planning roles within engineering, construction, or urban development projects.
• A relevant postgraduate degree or professional certification (*, PMP, PSP) is considered an advantage.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Proficiency with project planning and scheduling software, including Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Effective communication skills for multidisciplinary team collaboration and clear presentation of planning information.
• Proven capabilities in project control, including monitoring progress and managing risks.

Work Location and Conditions

This full-time position requires the ability to work on-site in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be expected to join immediately upon selection.
