The company is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer for a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to the company's ePMO team, contributing to the successful execution of major projects.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for significant construction and infrastructure initiatives. This position ensures that all planning activities align with contractual requirements, execution strategies, and overall company objectives. A key aspect of the role involves mentoring junior planners and providing management with accurate reports and forecasts to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive baseline schedules and ensure client approvals are secured.
• Monitor project progress diligently, identify any potential delays, and propose effective recovery actions.
• Perform detailed delay impact analysis and provide essential support for Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Coordinate actively with project, procurement, and technical teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Prepare and present clear, concise dashboards and reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Track manpower, equipment utilization, and productivity performance against established baselines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.

Essential Experience and Expertise

• 7+ years of strong planning experience, specifically within construction and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in various project control methods.
• Possession of relevant professional certifications is required or considered a significant advantage.
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills are essential for this role.
• Experience with contracting practices within the GCC region is preferred.
