About the Role

NEXIS SAUDIA is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Engineer to join its growing Cybersecurity team in Riyadh. This full-time position is critical in driving technical excellence throughout the sales cycle by collaborating with sales teams, customers, and technology partners to design and position effective cybersecurity solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and a commitment to delivering trusted expertise.

Key Responsibilities

The Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the Sales team to identify customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Conducting customer meetings, technical workshops, and solution presentations.
  • Designing end-to-end cybersecurity solutions aligned with customer needs and industry best practices.
  • Preparing technical proposals, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), Statements of Work (SOWs), compliance matrices, and solution architectures.
  • Delivering product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and technical evaluations.
  • Supporting RFP, RFQ, and tender responses with accurate technical documentation.
  • Working with technology vendors and distributors to develop competitive technical and commercial solutions.
  • Providing technical guidance throughout the sales cycle until project handover.
  • Staying current with emerging cybersecurity technologies, market trends, and competitive solutions.
  • Participating in internal knowledge-sharing and technical enablement activities.
  • Building strong customer relationships by acting as a trusted technical advisor.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, or Cybersecurity Consulting.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or government customers is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, and solution designs.

Technical and Soft Skills

Essential technical expertise includes:

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity solutions, including Network Security, Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR), SIEM & SOAR, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Vulnerability Management, Email Security, Cloud Security, and Zero Trust, SASE, and Secure Access technologies.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NCA ECC, SAMA CSF, PCI, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls is considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with leading cybersecurity vendors such as Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Splunk, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Tenable, Rapid7, BeyondTrust, Forcepoint, F5, and Zscaler is a plus.

Preferred certifications include CompTIA Security+, CCNA or CCNP, CISSP, Microsoft Security Certifications, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, Splunk Certifications, or any relevant cybersecurity vendor certification.
