Role Overview

Hackuity is seeking a Senior Presales & Professional Services Engineer to be the first technical hire in its new Dubai subsidiary, supporting expansion across the Middle East, specifically in Riyadh. This full-time role combines presales engagements with customer deployment, onboarding, and platform adoption. The engineer will manage the technical journey from discovery and solution design through demonstrations, proof of concepts, contracting support, implementation, training, and operational handover. This position requires a hands-on cybersecurity professional capable of engaging in executive discussions, Kubernetes architecture, and practical customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery and solution design for large enterprise prospects in the Middle East, assessing security architecture, tooling, vulnerability management maturity, and deployment constraints.
  • Design and deliver product demonstrations to various stakeholders, including CISOs, security architects, SOC teams, and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Manage complex Proofs of Concept (POCs) end-to-end, defining success criteria, technical scope, timelines, and internal resource coordination.
  • Lead responses to enterprise RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, ensuring technical accuracy in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Security teams.
  • Architect and execute customer deployments across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments, translating requirements into secure implementation plans.
  • Install and configure Hackuity on Kubernetes and OpenShift using Helm 3 charts, validating cluster prerequisites and configurations.
  • Support integrations with enterprise security ecosystems, including vulnerability scanners, databases, identity providers, ITSM platforms, and ticketing tools.
  • Guide customers in vulnerability management best practices, focusing on risk contextualization, remediation prioritization, and workflow establishment.
  • Deliver onboarding, administrator training, and technical workshops to enable customer teams in platform usage and risk visibility improvement.
  • Act as a strategic technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, fostering relationships and identifying opportunities for increased adoption.
  • Manage professional services engagements, including discovery workshops, implementation plans, and technical documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve complex customer issues across application, infrastructure, network, and security layers.
  • Develop local technical practices in Dubai, creating reusable demo environments, deployment runbooks, and best practices for the Middle East.
  • Represent Hackuity externally at customer meetings, industry events, and executive forums as a senior technical voice.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Over 10 years of experience in a relevant technical role.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes architecture and administration, including Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Experience with Helm 3, Kubernetes manifests, container images, and private registry proxies.
  • Familiarity with Amazon EKS, Microsoft AKS, and Google GKE.
  • Knowledge of ingress controllers, DNS, TLS certificates, and firewall rules.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and OpenSearch or Elasticsearch technologies.
  • Competence in Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and role-based access control.
  • Experience with ITSM and workflow platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, infrastructure automation, observability, and incident analysis.
  • Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure security.

Indicators of Success

  • Successful delivery of customer deployments with limited supervision.
  • Proficiency in Hackuity’s platform, connectors, and deployment models.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot Kubernetes, integration, configuration, and data ingestion issues.
  • Delivery of high-quality technical workshops and customer training sessions.
  • Contribution to effective vulnerability prioritization and remediation workflows for customers.
  • Establishment of trusted relationships with customer security and infrastructure teams.
  • Contribution of reusable documentation, deployment patterns, and implementation best practices.
