About the Role

InnovationTeam is seeking a Senior Presales Solutions Architect to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the technical presales lifecycle for opportunities spanning digital solutions, enterprise platforms, microservices, artificial intelligence, data, analytics, business intelligence, and telecom solutions. The architect will collaborate closely with sales, delivery, product, and customer stakeholders to understand business needs, define solution approaches, design technical architectures, prepare high-quality proposals, estimate implementation efforts, and present solutions to various stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead opportunity qualification, presales planning, and technical workstream development.
• Conduct discovery sessions to translate business requirements into functional and non-functional technical specifications.
• Design end-to-end digital solution architectures, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments.
• Develop microservices-based architectures, defining service boundaries, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Design AI and generative AI solution architectures, addressing data preparation, model training, and governance.
• Create business intelligence, analytics, reporting, and data visualization solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, tender responses, and supporting documentation.
• Develop effort estimates, resource plans, and support commercial costing activities.
• Present proposed solutions to customer executives and technical teams, leading clarification meetings and demonstrations.
• Manage proof-of-concept initiatives and coordinate with internal and external partners.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct structured presales-to-delivery handovers and contribute to presales asset development.

Telecom Solution Expertise

A critical aspect of this role involves designing and supporting solutions specifically for telecom operators, service providers, and communication organizations. This includes understanding telecom customer journeys, digital channels, customer care, billing, order management, and service assurance. The architect will work across Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS), applying knowledge of common telecom domains such as CRM, product catalogues, order management, billing, payments, and network/service inventory. Experience with TM Forum concepts and Open APIs is also relevant.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of eight years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, digital solutions, enterprise applications, AI, data, or business intelligence.
• Minimum of four years of experience in technical presales, solution consulting, enterprise architecture, or proposal management.
• Minimum of three years of experience working with telecom operators, telecom projects, or telecom-related solutions. Telecom industry experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience responding to enterprise, government, and telecom RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.
• Demonstrated experience designing and presenting complex enterprise and telecom solutions.
• Experience working with technology vendors, system integrators, implementation partners, and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles and executive-level presentations.
