Senior QA Engineer

About the Role

Future Look ITC is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role involves owning and continuously improving the quality assurance approach across the software delivery lifecycle. The Senior QA Engineer will partner with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure reliable, secure, and fit-for-use releases, while establishing quality practices that reduce defects and improve customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Define test strategies and plans based on product requirements, user workflows, and delivery risks.
• Review requirements and user stories to identify gaps, ambiguities, and potential issues early.
• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests.
• Automate suitable tests and maintain relevant test frameworks and tools.
• Record, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and verification.
• Investigate recurring defects and recommend preventive improvements.
• Support release planning and provide clear assessments of product readiness and quality risks.
• Mentor QA team members and promote consistent testing practices.
• Report test progress, results, risks, and blockers to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience in software quality assurance and testing, with 5-10 years of experience required.
• Experience with test and defect management tools such as Jira or equivalent.
• Practical experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Senior QA Engineer will work collaboratively with product, engineering, and business teams to achieve quality objectives.
