Senior Quality Control Engineer Low Voltage

About the Role

alfanar is seeking a Senior Quality Control Engineer, Low Voltage, to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires over 10 years of experience and focuses on ensuring quality control activities are performed efficiently, on time, and in accordance with established quality standards, policies, and procedures. The role contributes to achieving departmental operational plans and developments within a broader scope.

Functional Responsibilities

• Plan and organize in-process and final inspection and testing activities.
• Verify the correctness of completed inspection and test reports and prepare project-specific reports.
• Provide technical expertise in programming and testing of PLC, Synchronization, ATS, and soft starter panels.
• Support and guide the team in their contributions to project execution.
• Coordinate with project teams and other departments for project execution.
• Manage third-party agencies and customers for factory inspections.
• Control non-conforming products by raising punch lists/NCRs and following up until completion.
• Coordinate with other departments to finalize customer comments and ensure timely product release.

General Responsibilities

• Train subordinates and build an effective team.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work, including task delegation and fair distribution to maintain morale.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Resolve operational problems and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
• Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
