Senior Relationship Manager (MSME)

About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager (MSME) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves building and maintaining relationships with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) customers, focusing on sales and cross-selling of products and services, while ensuring credit quality is upheld.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to manage and grow relationships with MSME clients by offering tailored financial solutions and achieving sales targets. The Senior Relationship Manager will be responsible for understanding client needs and providing appropriate banking products and services, all while maintaining high standards of credit quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
• Manage day-to-day operations related to the role to ensure work continuity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with financial services clients through visits to prospects and existing customers.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer organizations, industries, and global practices to meet banking needs.
• Identify revenue opportunities and actively sell MSME products to achieve sales targets.
• Maximize product penetration, cross-selling, and seek structured finance opportunities to deliver effective services.
• Develop and follow up on account plans in a consistent and timely manner.
• Provide insights for commercially viable loans that meet market demand.
• Review and approve Credit Applications (CAs) within authority levels, ensuring quality and completeness before submission to Credit for review.
• Collaborate with the Credit Analytics Unit and Risk Management to secure and enhance the quality of the credit portfolio.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and practices, considering international best practices, cost reduction, and productivity.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate reports to meet Riyad Bank's requirements, policies, and standards.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this position.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within Riyad Bank. The role involves working closely with MSME clients and internal teams to achieve business objectives.
