About Al Safi Danone and the Role
Al Safi Danone is seeking a Senior Research Executive (Consumer Insights) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and focuses on leveraging consumer understanding to drive business decisions within the organization.
Role Overview
The Senior Research Executive will be responsible for leading consumer insights projects from design through to delivery. This role involves close collaboration with research agencies, evaluating methodologies, and translating complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions across marketing, sales, and overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage consumer insights projects from design through to delivery.
- Collaborate with research agencies to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality research outputs.
- Develop, implement, and communicate actionable insights that inform business strategy, marketing, and sales decisions.
- Evaluate research proposals, questionnaires, and methodologies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee qualitative and quantitative research projects, ensuring delivery within budget and timelines.
- Manage research budgets, reports, and shared research databases.
- Analyze, synthesize, and present research findings to optimize marketing strategies and business decisions.
- Provide regular updates to management on key KPIs, metrics, and strategic insights.
- Analyze and report on retail audit data, brand tracking studies, and competitor activities.
- Develop innovative ways to present and disseminate consumer insights across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or a related field (agency or client-side).
- Proven analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of marketing and sales.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Strong project and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing research budgets.
- Strong understanding of retail audit data and consumer research methodologies (*, segmentation, demand spaces, U&As, CPTs, concept testing, and BHTs).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word); advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are preferred.
