Senior Resident Engineer

About the Role

Black Tie Consultancy is partnering with a leading construction consultancy in Saudi Arabia to recruit a Senior Resident Engineer. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading the Construction Supervision team on-site. The Senior Resident Engineer will serve as the primary representative of the Consultant to the Client, contractors, and all other stakeholders involved in the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Construction Supervision team and represent the Consultant on site.
• Review contractor programmes, method statements, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Oversee Requests for Information (RFIs), variation orders, claims, and payment certification processes.
• Maintain high quality, safety, and environmental standards throughout testing, commissioning, and project handover phases.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction supervision.
• Demonstrated experience leading site supervision teams on large-scale projects.
• Ability to resolve technical and contractual issues proactively to prevent project delays.
• Proven capability to uphold quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards on site without compromising the project schedule.
