Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer (Data Centre Specialist) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on developing and closing new business opportunities within the data center and mission-critical facilities market, requiring a strong technical understanding of cooling systems and HVAC solutions.

Role Overview

The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales of precision cooling systems and related HVAC solutions for data centers. This involves building client relationships, preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals, and collaborating with engineering teams to design solutions that meet specific client requirements and capacity needs. The role requires a focus on energy efficiency, redundancy, and reliability in proposed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the data center and mission-critical facilities market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with data center owners, operators, consultants, and EPC contractors.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for precision cooling systems, CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, and related HVAC solutions.
• Conduct site assessments and collaborate with engineering teams to design cooling solutions that meet client requirements and capacity needs.
• Present technical solutions to clients, addressing energy efficiency (PUE), redundancy, and reliability requirements.
• Develop and execute account and territory sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and bid submissions.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales in line with company pricing and margin guidelines.
• Stay current on data center industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging cooling technologies.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, and service teams to ensure smooth project handover and customer satisfaction.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote Johnson Controls' data center cooling portfolio.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in sales engineering, particularly within the data center or mission-critical facilities sector, with a focus on cooling and HVAC solutions.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
