The Opportunity: Senior Wet Utilities Engineer

ARX is seeking a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves contributing to various infrastructure projects, focusing on the design and management of wet utility systems. The position is central to ensuring that all utility designs comply with established standards and integrate effectively within larger project frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee the design processes for wet utility systems across various infrastructure projects.
• Perform and review hydraulic calculations, network modelling, pipe sizing, and other engineering analyses pertinent to wet utility systems.
• Ensure all wet utility designs adhere to local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to integrate wet utility systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Manage the coordination of utility corridors, crossings, connections, diversions, and interfaces with other infrastructure disciplines.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and comprehensive documentation.
• Review designs and technical deliverables produced by engineers, designers, and the BIM/CAD team.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with a total experience range of 5-10 years.
• At least 3 years of experience working specifically within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• Demonstrated deep understanding of wet utility networks, including potable water, wastewater/sewerage, irrigation/TSE, and fire water systems.
