Service Technician

About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Service Technician to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves installing and commissioning system field devices, along with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Install basic required system field devices.
• Commission systems using standard configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in existing systems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls.
• Keep Johnson Controls Arabia, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any issues.
• Deliver output according to specific operational targets.
• Explain facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external parties.
• Correct or resolve issues in existing systems and processes, including making minor changes.

Required Experience and Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to address problems and issues that generally fall within a single job area or discipline, with a well-defined scope.
• Capability to handle vaguely defined problems that may require understanding of other job areas.
• Specialized knowledge of specific commercial, technical, trades, or office operations.
• Familiarity with broad theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced technical/operational practices.

Work Environment and Scope

This is an individual contributor role with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is primarily domestic, limited to locations within the country or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts.
