Service Technician

About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Service Technician to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves the installation and commissioning of system field devices, along with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Install basic required system field devices using standard configuration tools.
• Perform commissioning tasks for installed systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in existing systems and processes.
• Respond to basic warranty calls and address issues.
• Keep Johnson Controls Arabia, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any emerging issues.
• Deliver outputs in line with specific operational targets.
• Explain facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Make minor changes to correct or resolve issues in existing systems.

Problem Solving and Technical Application

The Service Technician will frequently address problems and issues that fall within a single job area or discipline, where the scope of the problem is well-defined. Less often, problems may be vaguely defined, requiring an understanding and consideration of other job areas. This role often utilizes specialized knowledge of specific commercial, technical, or trade operations, and less frequently applies broad theory and principles within a professional discipline.

Qualifications and Experience

• A two-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A suggested minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

This is an individual contributor role with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is primarily domestic, limited to locations within the country or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts.
