ServiceNow Agile Coach Sr.Scrum Master

About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a ServiceNow Agile Coach Sr. Scrum Master to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on driving the adoption of Agile and Scrum practices across IT and digital transformation initiatives. The objective is to enhance delivery effectiveness, foster high-performing teams, promote continuous improvement, and increase organizational Agile maturity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Agile and Scrum methodologies across various projects and transformation initiatives.
• Introduce Agile practices, frameworks, tools, and standards to improve delivery effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain Scrum processes, guidelines, and ways of working, supporting teams transitioning to Agile.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective execution of Sprint activities, monitoring progress, backlog delivery, capacity, risks, dependencies, and impediments.
• Partner with Product Owners and delivery teams on backlog management, prioritization, and refinement, ensuring transparency of delivery progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Coach Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices, promoting collaboration, self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve team, process, and organizational impediments, and mentor Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners as required.
• Monitor Agile metrics including velocity, throughput, cycle time, backlog health, and sprint performance, analyzing delivery trends and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Support the implementation and effective use of Agile tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps, standardizing Agile workflows and reporting practices.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Technical Leads to facilitate communication and dependency management.
• Contribute to enterprise Agile transformation initiatives, assessing Agile maturity and recommending improvements to processes, governance, and delivery practices.

• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules, utilizing resources effectively within cost and time parameters.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Solve arising problems and escalate complex operational issues.
• Ensure quality requirements are met, developing effective quality control and processes.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
• Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
