About the Role

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Shift Leader to join their team in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to Saudi nationals only and requires 0-1 years of experience. The role focuses on ensuring guest satisfaction through prompt maintenance services and maintaining the operational efficiency of various hotel systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly, communicating effectively to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines for operational integrity.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
• Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and ensure thorough cleanup of work areas.
• Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on various equipment, plumbing (*, unclogging drains), and electrical components.
• Program TVs and manage general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
• Utilize the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.
• Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping, including external landscaping sprinklers.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Properly store flammable materials and protect company assets.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Guest and Team Interaction

• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals.
• Communicate using clear and professional language.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to acquire basic knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and general building maintenance.
• Basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and heavier items with assistance.
• Capability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and ladders, and to reach overhead and below the knees.

This is a full-time position located in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires adherence to quality expectations and standards, ensuring a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
