About the Role

Luxury Collection is seeking a Shift Leader for a full-time position. This role is open to Saudi nationals only and involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of various building systems and equipment. The Shift Leader will also communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues and maintain inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and attend to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines and carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
• Perform all surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and thorough cleanup of the work area.
• Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on various types of equipment, plumbing (*, plunging toilets, unclogging drains), and electrical components.
• Program TVs and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
• Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.
• Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping, including external landscaping sprinklers.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete safety training.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests.
• Adhere to quality expectations and standards, develop positive working relationships, and support team goals.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and heavier items with assistance.
• Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders, and reach overhead and below the knees.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 0-1 years of experience.
• License: Valid Driver’s License.
• Skills: Basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.
• Knowledge: Basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, and energy conservation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or ** equivalent.
• Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting. Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
