Role Overview: Shipping Officer

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Shipping Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the Tamheer Program. This role involves supporting the efficient execution of shipping operations, ensuring timely preparations, accurate documentation, and effective communication within the supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all necessary preparations for the shipping process are in place, including arrangements for invoice issuance and providing official documents to customers.
  • Updating the SAP system with relevant shipping function transactions on a daily basis.
  • Following up with shipping companies regarding shipping schedules and status.
  • Collecting pertinent information required for establishing shipping plans.
  • Identifying local shipments to complete the required preparations for the shipping process.
  • Communicating with the warehouse function to inform them of daily required shipments and facilitate necessary actions.
  • Completing all paperwork and issuing invoices in a timely manner to facilitate the shipping process.
  • Documenting, filing, and maintaining all shipping function papers and documents, such as shipping companies’ schedules, invoices, Air Way Bills (AWBs), and shipping orders.
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 years of relevant professional experience.
  • A demonstrated commitment to organizational ethics and values.
  • Ability to manage documentation and follow up on shipping logistics.
  • Proficiency in using SAP systems for transaction updates is required.
