Role Overview: Shipping Officer (Tamheer Program)

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Shipping Officer to join its team in Riyadh through the Tamheer Program. This internship role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to develop their skills in shipping operations within the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring the smooth and efficient preparation and execution of shipping processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all necessary preparations for the shipping process are in place, including invoice issuance and providing official documents to customers.
• Update the SAP System with shipping function transactions and follow up with shipping companies regarding schedules and status.
• Demonstrate organizational ethics and values, aligning personal behavior and actions accordingly.
• Collect pertinent information required for establishing shipping plans.
• Identify local shipments to complete necessary preparations for the shipping process.
• Communicate with the warehouse function to inform them of daily required shipments for necessary actions.
• Complete all paperwork and issue invoices in a timely manner to facilitate the shipping process.
• Update the SAP System daily with shipping function transactions to ensure alignment with all JPI-concerned functions.
• Document, file, and maintain all shipping function papers and documents, such as shipping company schedules, invoices, Air Way Bills (AWBs), and shipping orders.
• Follow up with shipping companies on shipping schedules and status.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
