Shipping Officer

About the Role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Shipping Officer to join their team in Riyadh as part of the Tamheer Program. This internship role involves managing various aspects of the shipping process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods, and maintaining essential documentation. The position requires adherence to organizational ethics and values while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all preparations for the shipping process are in place, including arrangements for issuing shipment invoices.
• Provide customers with official papers and documents related to shipments.
• Update the SAP System daily with shipping function transactions to ensure alignment with all concerned functions.
• Follow up with shipping companies regarding schedules and status of shipments.
• Collect pertinent information required for establishing shipping plans.
• Identify local shipments and complete necessary preparations for their shipping process.
• Communicate with the warehouse function to inform them of daily required shipments for necessary actions.
• Complete all paperwork and issue invoices in a timely manner to facilitate the shipping process.
• Document, file, and maintain all shipping function papers and documents, such as shipping company schedules, invoices, Air Way Bills (AWBs), and shipping orders.
• Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
