The Role of Site Buyer (GSM Operation)

Lenovo is seeking a Site Buyer (GSM Operation) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves critical supply chain coordination and purchasing activities. The role is central to ensuring material availability and resolving operational issues within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, manufacturing teams, and global stakeholders to expedite or reschedule urgent shipments for critical materials and resolve supply issues.
• Support order management, shipment tracking, and inventory balancing activities.
• Interlock with GSM/GCM/Supplier on material master data, customs registration, or pricing issues.
• Close shipment or material issues, such as unmatched quantity, quality problems, or cargo incidents, with suppliers.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve ASN quality, ETA accuracy, and overall operational efficiency.
• Place and manage purchasing orders, resolving related exceptional cases with suppliers.
• Act as the KSA focal point on behalf of the Site Buyer team and support the development of future digital capabilities within the KSA Site Buyer function.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required for this position.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within the GSM Operation team to manage site-specific purchasing and supply chain functions.
