The Role of Specialist, Financial Planning & Analysis

Mozn is seeking a Specialist, Financial Planning & Analysis to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is a pivotal role designed to drive the company's financial strategy, provide advanced insights, and support executive decision-making within a high-growth SaaS and technology environment. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in relevant financial planning and analysis functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional collaboration with accounting, operations, sales, and other departments to gather complex data, develop integrated financial models, and deliver strategic insights.
• Provide expert financial analysis and leadership for high-impact special projects, initiatives, and strategic planning as directed by senior management and executive leadership.
• Oversee internal approval processes for budget submissions and actual consumption, ensuring strict alignment with budgetary guidelines, company policies, and procurement protocols.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, partnering with department heads to establish financial targets and drive consensus across the organization.
• Direct the preparation of comprehensive budget documentation and lead budget presentations to stakeholders and executive teams.
• Own the development and maintenance of rolling forecasts, incorporating advanced scenario planning, historical data, market trends, and macroeconomic factors to anticipate future performance.
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis, identifying key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommending corrective actions to senior leadership.
• Perform advanced profitability and cost-benefit analysis on products, services, customer segments, and business units to inform strategic investments and resource allocation.
• Design and deliver executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and visualizations using advanced Business Intelligence (BI) tools to communicate performance metrics, forecasts, and actionable insights.
• Mentor and guide junior FP&A team members, fostering professional development and ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in a scaling technology environment.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and business intelligence tools.
