The Role of Sr Account Executive
Blue Yonder is seeking a Sr Account Executive to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is focused on identifying and generating new sales within new public sector (government) customers, with a particular emphasis on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Sr Account Executive is an individual contributor responsible for establishing business-owner relationships, understanding client needs, and developing comprehensive account plans and strategies to expand Blue Yonder’s market penetration into new accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for identifying, prioritizing, pursuing, and closing new sales opportunities with new customers, managing the full customer relationship lifecycle.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and foster balanced growth.
- Build relationships with new customers, manage the sales pipeline, prospect for new leads, assess sales opportunities, and advance multiple transactions concurrently.
- Communicate progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, coordinating internal resources (*, CSM, SE) to maximize value.
- Establish positive customer relationships based on understanding requirements and delivering value through expertise, solutions, and implementation.
- Understand each account’s strategic growth plans, technology strategy, and competitive landscape, staying informed on industry trends and issues through public information review.
- Create and maintain actionable account plans to guide strategy development and identify new business opportunities. Lead account relationships, persona profiling, and sales cycles, overseeing all commercial activities and owning the end-to-end relationship.
- Develop and present comprehensive business plans addressing customer priorities, utilizing value justification, benchmarking, and ROI data to support decision-making.
- Maintain proficiency and working knowledge of all Blue Yonder products and solutions.
- Negotiate new contract terms for SaaS renewals.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of sales experience in enterprise software for a high-growth company.
- Proven business acumen and revenue forecasting capabilities in an Account Management or Sales Executive role.
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic customer roadmaps.
- Successful track record in influencing and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Experience utilizing CRM software and MS Office.
- Knowledge of the Supply Chain industry.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ideally fluent in both Arabic and English.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, with a primary focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
