Sr. Resident Engineer

About the Role

AECOM Saudi Arabia is seeking a Sr. Resident Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a highly experienced professional to oversee site activities and ensure compliance with project specifications for road, railway, and construction projects.

Role Overview

The Senior Resident Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive supervision and management of construction activities. This includes ensuring adherence to approved designs and standards, coordinating with various stakeholders, and maintaining project quality and safety throughout the execution phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage construction activities for road, railway, and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the client, contractor, and consultants to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project standards.
• Review contractor submissions, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Lead site inspections and ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures.
• Prepare and review progress reports and provide technical recommendations.
• Manage and coordinate site supervision teams.
• Identify potential project risks and support timely resolution of issues.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and relevant engineering standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in road, railway, and construction projects is required.
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing site activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Proven ability to coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a project-focused environment, collaborating with various teams and external stakeholders to deliver complex infrastructure projects.
