The Role of Stone Consultant

Versatile International Consultants is seeking a Stone Consultant to join its growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves serving as a trusted advisor to clients, architects, designers, and contractors. The consultant will provide expert guidance on the selection, specification, and application of natural stone, aiming to deliver tailored solutions while ensuring quality, technical excellence, and successful project delivery throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand project requirements and recommend suitable natural stone solutions.
• Provide expert knowledge on natural stone materials, finishes, performance, and applications.
• Assess project requirements and recommend the most appropriate stone types, finishes, and installation approaches.
• Collaborate closely with architects, designers, consultants, and contractors to ensure material selections align with design intent and technical requirements.
• Stay informed on industry trends, innovative materials, and emerging technologies within the natural stone sector.
• Support quality assurance by ensuring materials meet project specifications prior to delivery and installation.
• Educate clients and project teams on natural stone characteristics, maintenance requirements, and installation best practices.

Project Involvement and Scope

This position offers involvement across the full natural stone value chain. Depending on project requirements, the consultant may become involved in quarry and factory production, collaborating with suppliers to oversee material selection, fabrication, quality control, and production processes. The role may also include supporting on-site installation oversight, working alongside contractors and project teams to help ensure stone installation aligns with project specifications and quality standards.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Stone Consultant role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong background in natural stone project delivery and consultancy.
