About the Consultant Role at Elm Company

Elm Company is seeking a Consultant to support the development, enhancement, and optimization of its enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role is integral to improving operational efficiency, enabling digital transformation, and ensuring the effective delivery of internal digital services across the organization.

Core Responsibilities

The Consultant will be responsible for a range of activities focused on ERP systems and business process alignment. Key accountabilities include:

  • Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for ERP systems and related processes, producing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flows.
  • Supporting the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of ERP modules, analyzing enhancement requests, and recommending solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Identifying opportunities for business process improvement through ERP capabilities and automation, contributing to digital transformation initiatives and process standardization.
  • Assisting with integration activities between ERP and internal corporate systems, coordinating with technical teams, and troubleshooting system-related issues.
  • Supporting the preparation of management reports and business analytics related to ERP operations, providing insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborating with business units, technical teams, and external vendors on ERP initiatives, including solution evaluations and service delivery monitoring.
  • Ensuring business rules, controls, and governance requirements are implemented within ERP systems and supporting compliance with organizational policies.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in ERP systems, business analysis, digital transformation initiatives, or enterprise application management.
  • Experience with process improvement and business systems implementation is required.
  • Professional certifications in ERP platforms, business analysis, or project management are considered an advantage.

Operational Compliance and Security

The role requires adherence to established policies, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent and controlled work execution. This includes following departmental standard operating procedures and complying with safety, quality, environmental management policies, and information security practices to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
