About the Role

Emdad By Elm is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves contributing to the development of a national project that delivers widespread social and field services. The specialist will focus on identifying development opportunities, designing strategic initiatives, and translating innovative ideas into practical, implementable, and measurable action plans.

Role Purpose

The primary objective of this position is to develop initiatives that enhance project efficiency, improve the beneficiary experience, and strengthen the social impact of the services provided. This involves effectively linking strategic directions with operational needs and the specific requirements of various beneficiary groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Study the current state of the project and identify opportunities for development and improvement.
• Design strategic initiatives aligned with project objectives and beneficiary needs.
• Translate ideas and proposals into clear initiatives, defining scope, deliverables, and success indicators.
• Prepare implementation concepts and conduct feasibility studies for new initiatives.
• Develop an initiative roadmap, prioritizing tasks and outlining implementation phases.
• Monitor the execution of initiatives in collaboration with relevant departments and teams.
• Analyze operational and social challenges, proposing practical solutions for resolution.
• Utilize visit data and case studies to inform the development of services and initiatives.
• Develop initiatives that enhance service quality and improve the experience for both beneficiaries and field researchers.
• Prepare presentations, studies, and memos for leadership.
• Measure the impact of initiatives and track performance indicators, including social and operational outcomes.
• Develop work models, services, and procedures pertinent to the project.
• Coordinate with government agencies, partners, and other relevant entities within the social sector.
• Manage workshops and meetings focused on initiative development.
• Monitor risks and obstacles, providing recommendations for their mitigation.
• Document initiatives, decisions, and lessons learned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Industrial Engineering, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in business development, initiatives management, strategy, or service development.
• Demonstrated experience in designing initiatives and preparing plans and implementation concepts.
• Knowledge of social development programs or services provided to families and beneficiary groups.
• Ability to understand beneficiary needs and translate them into implementable initiatives and services.
• Experience in project management, implementation follow-up, and impact measurement.
• Ability to analyze data and problems, converting findings into practical recommendations.
• Experience in preparing presentations and reports for leadership.
• Preferred: Experience with government, social, or large-scale field projects.
