Role Overview: Strategy & Planning Lead

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Strategy & Planning Lead to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time, onsite role involves defining, managing, and evaluating business plans to ensure operational execution aligns with strategic objectives. The successful candidate will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop short-term business plans and data-driven models, contributing to the company's long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop recommendations from complex data and business analyses, formulating them into actionable business plans.
• Drive the construction of statistical and financial models to analyze new aspects of business performance.
• Establish metrics for measuring business performance and recommend strategies to address identified performance gaps.
• Lead complex, time-sensitive market research projects to identify trends and opportunities for business leaders.
• Staff and manage cross-functional teams across all business planning activities.
• Drive all aspects of priority projects and make final team decisions.
• Develop business plans and proactively identify new opportunities in partnership with client business leaders.
• Develop and drive comprehensive business plan recommendations based on analysis, emerging trends, and experience.
• Identify or develop analytical tools, models, and methods for key business decisions.
• Counsel business leaders, recommend approaches for executing high-level strategies, and develop creative solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess over 10 years of experience in relevant subject matter knowledge, including technologies, theories, and techniques. The position requires unique mastery and recognized authority in these areas, contributing to the development of innovative principles and ideas. The individual must be capable of operating successfully in complex disciplines and providing highly innovative solutions.

Leadership and Functional Expertise

This role involves leading large, cross-division functional teams or projects that impact the organization's long-term goals and objectives. The Strategy & Planning Lead may participate in cross-division, multi-function teams and is expected to provide mentoring and guidance to junior employees. The role requires routinely exercising independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving objectives, as well as developing strategy and setting functional policy and direction. This position acts as a functional manager within the area of expertise but does not involve direct management of other employees as a primary job function.
