About the Studies & Reporting Manager Role

alfanar is seeking a Studies & Reporting Manager to lead and integrate data governance, reporting, and strategic studies. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, requires 5-10 years of experience and is crucial for ensuring high-quality data, aligned reporting, and actionable insights to support decision-making and drive organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and standardize data collection methods, overseeing data platforms and reporting systems for integration and consistency.
  • Establish data governance frameworks, quality standards, and validation rules, supervising the development of data collection tools and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain standardized reports, dashboards, and reporting templates, consolidating outputs from multiple sources into executive-level summaries.
  • Monitor performance indicators, identify deviations, and highlight key trends, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reporting.
  • Conduct and oversee studies related to investments, expansions, and strategic initiatives, reviewing feasibility studies and assessing alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Perform benchmarking, comparative analysis, and evaluate business cases, providing recommendations for decision-making and assessing the strategic impact of initiatives.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, and gaps, translating data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for executive management.
  • Collaborate with KPI owners, data providers, and business units, ensuring effective communication and alignment across reporting and study activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting systems and analytical processes, supporting automation and standardization of reporting capabilities.

Leadership and Management Accountabilities

This role requires strong leadership in human resource management, including the ability to recruit, develop, and manage high and low performers effectively. The manager must ensure fair treatment of subordinates, with performance assessment based on planned results. Responsibility extends to taking full ownership of operations, anticipating problems, and making timely, proper decisions. Delivering required results with the specified quality, cost, and timeline is essential. The role also involves transforming corporate goals into business plans, monitoring performance, controlling budgets, and developing organizational structures and job descriptions.

The manager is responsible for developing well-defined systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities, and promoting the full utilization of IT solutions relevant to the business. Academic and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Management or any relevant field.
  • 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
