Supervisor Housekeeping

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Supervisor-Housekeeping to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves overseeing housekeeping operations to ensure quality standards and efficient service delivery. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
• Manage room status by running sold room reports, verifying status, identifying discrepancies, prioritizing cleaning, and updating departing guest room statuses.
• Support Housekeeping management in daily operational activities.
• Coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments.
• Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments.
• Communicate relevant issues to the next shift and complete all required paperwork.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others, develop positive working relationships, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and over 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capable of pushing and pulling a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
