The Role of System Administrator

APTWatch is seeking a System Administrator to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, and security of APTWatch’s IT infrastructure. The System Administrator will ensure system reliability and performance through effective management of servers and operating systems, including regular updates and patches.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and secure APTWatch’s IT infrastructure.
• Manage servers and operating systems, performing regular updates and patches.
• Ensure system reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide technical support to internal teams.
• Oversee network administration tasks, including configuration, access control, and performance monitoring.
• Implement best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.
• Document procedures and collaborate with engineering and security teams to support new deployments and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a System Administrator role or similar.
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining, monitoring, and securing IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in managing servers and operating systems.
• Experience with network administration tasks, including configuration and access control.
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves collaboration with internal engineering and security teams to support ongoing projects and system enhancements.
