Role Purpose

The System Site Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of mission-critical applications. This involves leveraging expertise in Linux system administration, network management, and application deployment automation to support robust system functionality.

Core Responsibilities

• Deploying and configuring mission-critical applications running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Maintaining the operational integrity and performance of deployed applications.
• Implementing application deployment automation using tools such as Ansible and Puppet.
• Collaborating with developers, database administrators, and system architects to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Ensuring system security and efficiency across production and non-production environments.

Required Skills and Technical Expertise

• Strong expertise in Linux system administration, particularly with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Proficiency in network management and troubleshooting.
• Experience with application deployment automation tools like Ansible and Puppet.
• Solid technical knowledge of SQL databases, specifically Oracle.
• Familiarity with Java-based applications.

Experience and Collaboration
