About the Role

Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves working closely with a sales representative to provide technical support across all pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales activities. The Systems Engineer will be instrumental in supporting the sales organization by addressing technical matters for enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle for enterprise customers, from initial RFIs through to RFPs and RFQs as required.
  • Manage and actively participate in Proof of Concepts (POCs) in collaboration with internal teams, customers, and commercial partners.
  • Understand customer technical requirements to develop solutions that differentiate Fortinet from competitors.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, working closely with the sales partner.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions, maintaining an understanding of the competitive landscape and Fortinet's threat protection capabilities.
  • Position Fortinet solutions effectively to customers, both remotely and in person, utilizing strong communication skills for presentations, whiteboarding, and technical discussions.
  • Manage time efficiently across multiple deals to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate activity, contact, and account technical information for all customers and prospects within Salesforce CRM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • High aptitude for security technology, particularly encryption and authentication.
  • Desirable knowledge includes network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN.
  • CISSP accreditation is beneficial.
  • Current or previous experience in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals through to technical closure.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and their impact on key wins within previous organizations.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical information effectively to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, *, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, and 3DES.
