Introduction to the Role

Brand Aid Marketing Solutions is seeking a Technical Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on technical aspects within the advertising and signage industry.

Core Function and Objectives

The Technical Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring technical accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with quality and safety standards throughout the production process. This involves detailed design analysis, precise material preparation, and effective project execution for advertising items such as display stands, podiums, booths, exhibitions, and event structures.

Key Technical Responsibilities

• Analyze 3D and AutoCAD designs to propose practical and technical production solutions that align with project objectives.
• Prepare and present Bill of Materials (BOM) detailing ideal materials and components for manufacturing advertising items.
• Develop feasible engineering drawings, applying Value Engineering principles to ensure cost-efficient and practical project delivery.
• Maintain organized records and archives of all engineering data, drawings, material specifications, and quantity lists.
• Ensure all designs and executions comply with health and safety standards.
• Oversee and monitor project execution start-up to ensure adherence to dimensions, specifications, and quality standards.
• Provide detailed operational explanations to manufacturing teams to facilitate smooth production processes.
• Support the development of manufacturing and operations departments by introducing advanced tools and fabrication methods to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
• Propose innovative and practical ideas, suggesting new materials and tools to improve the final product.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with the Technical/Design Head to propose suitable solutions for production challenges.
• Demonstrate strong task prioritization and time management skills.

Operational and Administrative Coordination

• Determine project manufacturing timelines in coordination with the Technical/Design Head and the Production Management team.
• Guide manufacturing and operations departments regarding fabrication and assembly methods in coordination with the Production Department.
• Update priorities for executing technical and engineering files according to the production plan and project importance, in coordination with the Technical/Design Head.
• Coordinate with the Procurement Department to expedite the purchase of raw materials, accessories, and other required manufacturing supplies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts – Industrial Design Department.
• Experience: 0-1 years in a relevant technical role.
• Technical Proficiency: High accuracy and speed in using design and engineering software tools.
• Technical Skills: Ability to prepare and issue detailed and accurate technical and engineering files.
