The Role of Technical Interior Engineer

Ironwood Solutions is seeking a Technical Interior Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for translating interior design concepts into precise, buildable technical solutions. The role requires 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field, supporting smooth project execution by bridging design intent with practical implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with codes and standards.
• Review structural and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) requirements.
• Validate materials and finishes for projects.
• Prepare shop drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and quotations.
• Resolve technical issues that arise during construction and installation.
• Monitor site progress and conduct inspections to confirm design compliance.
• Update documentation to reflect changes during project execution.
• Address technical challenges related to design implementation.

Project Implementation and Quality Assurance

This position supports the seamless execution of projects by serving as a critical link between design intent and practical implementation. The Technical Interior Engineer is responsible for ensuring that quality and safety standards are consistently met across all phases of project delivery, contributing to the successful completion of high-end commercial and residential spaces.

Required Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a technical interior engineering or a closely related role.
• Proficiency in developing detailed drawings and technical specifications.
• Ability to prepare shop drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and quotations.
• Understanding of design feasibility, building codes, and industry standards.
• Capability to review structural and MEP requirements.
