About the Role

Saudi Airlines Catering Company is seeking a Technician, Facility - Cooling to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is essential for maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of various cooling and air conditioning systems within company facilities. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and a commitment to upholding stringent hygiene and cybersecurity standards.

Core Maintenance Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and mechanical systems for Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Window and Split type air-conditioning units, Water Coolers, Cool rooms, Blast Chillers, and Walk-in Freezers.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for cold rooms, freezer trucks, air curtains, and exhaust fans.
• Responsible for the installation and modification of all cold room units, split type, fan coils, package, and ducted split A/C systems.
• Perform balancing of air conditioning system/sub-systems, cold air ducts/dampers, and controls.
• Conduct instrumentation and repair on refrigeration, air conditioning, plant, and associated facilities.
• Diagnose faults on refrigeration systems, then repair and rectify issues to ensure optimal functionality.

Operational Oversight and Support

• Closely monitor the serviceability of equipment and systems to ensure smooth 24-hour operations and report status to the Sr. Supervisor.
• Attend technical and other meetings to facilitate communication regarding work and systems.
• Respond to high-priority jobs, particularly on critical equipment or systems, and assist other HF-T sections as required.
• Receive and collect Work Orders, performing tasks to a high standard of quality workmanship.
• Assist the Supervisor in planning and scheduling work orders.
• Assist Technicians in implementing familiarization, apprenticeship, or craft skill training for Saudi Nationals and newly recruited staff.
• Submit daily reports concerning daily achievements and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Quality and Safety Standards

• Ensure all cold rooms are in working condition and meet required Hygiene standards.
• Ensure proper utilization of tools and workshop equipment, including electrical load testing, in all working areas.
• Observe and encourage cost consciousness by cross-utilization of still usable parts and materials.
• Maintain housekeeping and tidiness of the workshop and working area through proper disposal of scrapped materials.
• Maintain a high standard of cleaning and sanitation in workshops and working areas by proper disposal of debris and scrapped mechanical or electrical parts.

Cybersecurity Compliance

• Adhere strictly to all Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Handle data and information according to their designated classification levels.
• Avoid violating intellectual property rights, including copyrights, patents, or similar laws.
• Comply with Cybersecurity requirements for the protection of user devices, Internet, software, systems, and Email.
• Adhere to the acceptable use policy, utilizing CATRION information and technical assets solely for business purposes.
• Obtain required permits from the security department or authority owner before hosting visitors in sensitive company sites.
• Report all Cybersecurity incidents promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in facility maintenance, specifically with cooling and air conditioning systems.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in the maintenance, installation, and repair of various HVAC and refrigeration units.
• Ability to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions for complex cooling system issues.
• Strong understanding of hygiene and safety standards applicable to facility operations.
