The Role of Telecom OSS Architect / Designer

As a Telecom OSS Architect / Designer at Capgemini Engineering, you will serve as a senior technical authority within the Connectivity & Network Engineering practice. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves leading the architecture and design of complex OSS solutions for major telecommunications clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bridging business requirements with technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end OSS architecture and design across Network Inventory Management, Performance Management, and Fault/Event Management domains, defining solution blueprints, integration frameworks, and technical roadmaps aligned with client objectives and industry best practices such as TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, TAM, SID).
• Drive the design and implementation of Network Inventory solutions, including physical, logical, and service inventory modelling, ensuring accurate representation of network assets across multi-vendor, multi-technology environments (2G/3G/4G/5G, Fixed, IP/MPLS).
• Architect Performance and Fault Management solutions, overseeing the design of KPI frameworks, threshold management, alarm correlation, and root cause analysis capabilities to enable proactive network operations.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders to translate business and operational requirements into detailed technical specifications, solution architectures, and HLD/LLD documentation.
• Lead and govern OSS integration design, defining interfaces and APIs between OSS platforms and adjacent systems including BSS, NMS, EMS, and cloud-native network management platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to OSS engineers and designers, conducting design reviews, and ensuring architectural consistency and compliance with standards.
• Support pre-sales and solutioning activities, contributing to RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, and solution demonstrations for opportunities across KSA and the wider Middle East telecoms market.
