Role Overview

Hastraa Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead enterprise-wide testing initiatives for a prominent banking client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a strong background in Capital Markets and focuses on delivering high-quality testing services across complex applications.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing Quality Assurance (QA) teams, defining robust testing strategies, and overseeing the delivery of testing services within the Capital Markets domain. This role requires prior work experience in Saudi Arabia and a strong understanding of the local banking and financial services landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities across Capital Markets applications and platforms.
• Define and implement the overall Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Governance, and Quality Assurance framework.
• Manage Functional, System Integration, Regression, Performance, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production Validation testing.
• Lead multiple QA teams comprising Test Leads, Functional Testers, Automation Engineers, and Performance Testers.
• Collaborate with Business, Product Owners, Development, Project Management Office (PMO), Infrastructure, and Vendor teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Review business requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
• Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and quality metrics reporting.
• Manage test estimation, planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and organizational quality processes.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), UAT, Release Validation, and Go-Live support activities.
• Present quality dashboards, project status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing QA best practices and process optimization.
• Mentor and guide testing teams while promoting a quality-first culture.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of overall experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Extensive experience in a Test Manager or QA Manager role.
• Mandatory prior experience working in Saudi Arabia.
• Extensive experience in Capital Markets projects within banks or financial institutions is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi banking and financial services landscape.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing large testing teams across multiple projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
