The Role of a Transporter

KKESH is seeking a Transporter to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of patients within the hospital, particularly during the perioperative phase. The Transporter also contributes to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and supports various hospital regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport patients through the perioperative phase, both before and after procedures, as required.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to all established standards and procedures.
• Comply with infection control standards, ensure the work area is clean, and verify that all transport equipment is in safe working order.
• Restock stationary supplies as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hospital-wide service departments and communication systems.
• Apply the necessary knowledge and skills to safely transport patients within the hospital.
• Utilize required knowledge and skills on the unit during "after hours" and "on-call" situations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in applying the hospital-wide patient identification system.
• Act as a unit receptionist when required.
• Support hospital regulations related to visitor control, non-smoking policies, and other safety issues, reinforcing these regulations to patients and visitors objectively.
• Perform all duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.
• Undertake all other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is desirable.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Transporter will operate within the dynamic environment of King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital, interacting with various departments and personnel to ensure seamless patient flow.
