The Role of Travel Consultant

Tumodo is seeking a Travel Consultant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in corporate travel agencies or travel management companies. The Travel Consultant will provide travel services to corporate clients, manage itineraries, and ensure travel needs are met efficiently. Strong proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) platforms, particularly Sabre, is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients.
• Understand client preferences, policies, and requirements to deliver personalized service.
• Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries and issue resolution.
• Utilize the Tumodo platform and other tools for researching, planning, and booking domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, and trains.
• Suggest alternative routes, lowest fares, booking classes, exchange rates, and travel services.
• Manage complex multi-leg itineraries and prepare detailed trip plans using preferred vendors.
• Ensure compliance with client travel policies and negotiate with vendors for optimal deals.
• Coordinate all aspects of travel, including ticket issuance, itinerary changes, cancellations, and rebooking.
• Liaise with airlines, hotels, and other providers to resolve travel disruptions promptly.
• Provide support to clients during emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
• Stay informed on industry trends, travel regulations, and new technologies.
• Participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance performance.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to best practices within the team.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in corporate travel agencies or travel management companies.
• Strong proficiency in GDS platforms, particularly Sabre.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and provide service.
• Experience with travel planning, booking, and coordination.
