B&F Supervisor

About the Role

W Hotels is seeking a B&F Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and focuses on ensuring optimal service delivery and guest satisfaction within the food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure staff collaboration for optimum service and guest needs fulfillment.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing areas.
• Monitor storage areas for organization, FIFO adherence, and cleanliness.
• Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
• Oversee dining rooms for seating, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
• Submit work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.
• Serve as a role model and initial contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Adhere to company safety and security policies, report incidents, and complete required training.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, foster positive working relationships, and support team goals.
• Ensure quality standards are met and identify opportunities for efficiency, productivity, and cost savings.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Visual inspection of tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or entire shifts.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasping, turning, and manipulating objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigating narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Moving up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of service standards and guest satisfaction.
