Vendor Operations Associate Strategic Initiatives

About the Role

Afaq Q Tech General Trading is seeking a Vendor Operations Associate Strategic Initiatives to join the MENA Grocery team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on building new business initiatives from the ground up within an innovative and high-impact environment. The associate will guide and support vendors to ensure seamless interaction with Amazon's systems, optimizing their operations on the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist vendors in becoming proficient with Amazon tools and provide ongoing operational support, including purchase order (PO) management and shipment tracking.
• Provide training on catalog content population and procurement processes.
• Interact directly with vendors, manufacturers, and customers to resolve operational issues and improve performance.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and actively participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including in-stock managers, vendor managers, program managers, and fulfillment partners, to enhance vendor performance and operational metrics.
• Take ownership of operational challenges, analyze data, identify and correct errors, and implement corrective actions.
• Source store-level pricing and promotions from vendors and execute them using internal tools.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.

Operational Focus

This role involves improving operational performance metrics, managing inventory levels, and enhancing overall vendor performance. The associate will provide hands-on support for tasks such as PO management and shipment coordination, working closely with vendors to help them procure catalog content and resolve operational issues. A strong focus will be placed on continuous process improvements and automation.

Work Environment
