  • Review site readiness, surveys, TSSRs, drawings, BoQs, configurations, work plans, and site connections to identify technical risks before execution.
  • Support installation and commissioning quality, including cabling, grounding, RF checks, transmission configuration/alignment, power checks, alarms, and test records.
  • Troubleshoot RAN, transmission, power, and site-related faults, supporting root-cause identification and corrective actions.
  • Reinforce Ericsson technical standards, processes, tools, quality checkpoints, EHS, and customer requirements.
  • Identify capability gaps and recurring quality issues, providing targeted coaching and practical knowledge transfer.
  • Escalate safety risks, non-conformances, unresolved technical issues, and delivery risks.

  • Maintain required site and technical documentation and promote ASP self-sufficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Typically 5–10 years of telecommunications field experience, with hands-on GSM/RAN delivery experience and exposure to coaching or coordinating field teams.
  • Practical experience in site installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting, particularly across RAN and transmission.
  • Knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/LTE/5G equipment, including RBS 6000-family installations, script loading, alarm clearance, fault finding, and basic commissioning.
  • Experience with RF installation/testing, including VSWR/DTF checks and antenna installation.
  • Knowledge of microwave and fibre transmission, including Ericsson Mini-Link TN/6600, VLAN configuration, link commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with microwave configurations including 1+0, 2+0, 2+2, 4+0, XPIC, and E-Band.
  • Knowledge of DC power systems, rectifiers, batteries, civil/site quality, site readiness, TSSRs, drawings, BoQs, and site connections.
  • Understanding of integration, commissioning, acceptance, EHS, quality controls, documentation, and handover.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on coaching, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently at field sites and travel as required.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with MS Project, Primavera, KPIs, and reporting dashboards.

Work Environment

This role requires working independently at various field sites and involves travel as needed to support ASP teams across different locations, including Jeddah. The position is full-time and based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
